About Me

Professional and Educational Background

My name is Zachary (Zach) Menshouse and I am a Learning Consultant for Marathon Petroleum Corporation.  In my current job role, I administer our corporate learning management system, build and maintain custom web-based training modules, integrate third-party courseware via SCORM and/or AICC standards, and develop web-based support tools to facilitate the administrative functions concerning learning.

I received my Bachelors Degree from Ohio University in Organizational Communications.  I also hold an Associates Degree in Computer Science as well as an Associates Degree in Electronic Media, both from Ohio University as well.

Personal Information

I am married to my wonderful wife Jamie, of nearly eight years, and live in a small town in Kentucky.  We have a 13 month old son, Asher, who keeps us entertained and very busy, as well as two small dogs – Sammy and Sophie.  Aside, from spending time with my family I am avid University of Kentucky basketball fan.

Why am I pursuing an EDTECH degree from BSU?

The EDTECH degree closely aligns with my current job duties. The degree allows for me to sharpen my skills and obtain a graduate level degree to solidify my resume and open up opportunities for career advancement and expanded responsibilities within a learning organization.
